Export to PST file from Outlook

Exporting your data to a PST file.

1. Open Outlook, make sure you are connected to Exchange and hit the Send/Receive button to make sure none of the Email is left behind.



2. Click on the "File" drop down menu and select "Import and Export"



3. Select "Export to a file" and click "Next".



4. Select "Personal Folder File (.pst)" and click "Next".



5. Highlight the top mail box folder and make sure "Include subfolders" is check, then click "Next".



6. Browse to the path you would like to save the file.  Make sure you remember where you save it, then click "Finish".



7.  Leave the password blank, do not select encryption if it asks you to, then click "OK".  It may take up to a few minutes to export the data.

You have successfully exported your Outlook data to a PST file.
